The company seeks applications from all interested qualified Ugandans to apply for the following available position;
Job Title: Administrative Assistant -01
Responsibilities:
- Accounting Responsibilities: –
- Providing support to the Accounts Department.
- Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
- Preparing financial reports.
- Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
- Participate in sales and marketing activities including running the Canteen.
- Office Assistant Responsibilities: –
- Typing required information using Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Ms. Access, Ms. Power Point, etc.
- Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
- Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
- Managing filing system.
- Recording information as needed.
- Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing.
- Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
- Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
- Organizing travel by booking accommodation and reservation needs as required.
- Coordinating events as necessary.
- Maintaining supply inventory.
- Maintaining office equipment as needed.
- Aiding with client reception as needed.
- Experience as a Virtual Assistant.
- Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
Person Specifications
- Applicants must possess a Diploma OR Bachelors in Business Administration or Finance and Accounting of Management studies or Administrative Secretarial studies or equivalent in the respective disciplines.
- Additional skills in ICT are a must with a good command in Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Ms. Access, Ms. Power Point, etc.
- Experience is not a must, possession of relevant Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes is important.
Required Attributes
The position of an Administrative Assistant requires the following attributes:
- Intellectual expertise, creativity and innovation.
- Being a team player with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Should good customer care and public relations skills.
Remuneration
An attractive remuneration package shall be paid in accordance with the Organisation terms and conditions of service.
